| Part 1 shows the main matches for the first day of the championships. On July 4, the world top skilled women compete in the women's individual and team competition. Over 120 participated in the women's individual competition, all of them who went through extensive training in order to proudly represent their home countries. Twenty-one teams participate in the women's team competition. There is a Nihon Kendo Kata demonstration in between the matches by M. Shimano Hanshi 8th Dan and E. Taguchi Hanshi 8th dan. The competition is a full day event. The video is divided in two sections. First section contains the highlights of the preliminary matches, by showing the best matches and points scored, and later the semi-finals and the final matches.
