I'm very impressed and waited six months to save for this Shinai. I'm very happy and was so surprised when I held it, that its weight is about the same to some of my other bamboo Shinai. Very much worth it, some other Kenshi have a Carbon Shinai as do our Sensei, some and this is the main reason for my purchase.

i bought this shinai on december of 2006, we are now on july 2008 and its the first time i will replace a broken slat, so guys if you need shinais with long life, go for it you wont regret it
