The Shinai Bag within itself is really good and can easily carry my bokken and two shinais......I do have to take the tsuba off of the bokken for the shinais to have theirs on, but other than that it is good. The color of the bag is not as strong as in the website, its red, yes, but not that blood red that is on the website. The desings are really nice and some people have even told me I have one of the "fancy" shinai bags.

If the shinai and bokken are the swordfighter's soul, then you can't do better than to dress your soul up in this.
I just got this in the mail, and I'm very pleased. The colors are lovely, and the shape keeps all of my shinai flat inside instead of bunching all up. That certainly makes it more comfortable to sling over my shoulder and carry my bogu bag "hobo-style."
And you don't necessarily need to be a fan of Canada's team (although why wouldn't you be?). When I explained the bag to some kendoka who commented on the lovely design, they said that they wouldn't have guessed that it was the Canadian bag. I may help that we have plenty of maple trees up here in Michigan.
I heartily recommend this bag to those with an asthetic inclination in their kendo equipment.
