Hoji-cha is roasted Sen-cha, characterized with light golden color. This tea is recommended to serve after dinner due to its unique aroma. Maeda-en's Hoji-cha is using fine quality Sen-cha, which was roasted at high temperature (180C) to bring up toasted flavor. Steep 1tbsp & 1tsp of Hoji-cha in hot water (180-190F) with large pot for 30-40 seconds, then enjoy!
