I have both the black and the white. The appearance is outstanding. I find it quite a bit cooler than the traditional cotton hakama, and it certainly travels much better and is much easier to clean.
My only complaint - The sashes are a little short, I had to add some additional length for my large American frame.
The value for the set is outstanding

Both the Gi and Hakama are made from tetron.
The set comes with a small picture card with photos teaching you how to fold and wear the gi and hakama. I was expecting cheap plastic packaging but the set was packaged in reusable think plastic covers and in perfect condition for use immediately.
