I also love this bag, it a "soft shout". It is unique and stands out, not by loud colors or design, but by simplicity. I just wanted a simple bag to conceal my shinai going into the gym. Two shinai fit tightly into the bag. The fabric is heavy Gi type and meshes well with Kendo. Warning- white does get dirty easy, so put on top of, or in your bag when not using.

I love this bag. It may not have the utility (=extra pockets, strap) of the more elaborate bags, but it has a very natural and traditional feel to it. Besides, you can tie your tsuba(s) to the string with which you close the bag. It's practical and looks nice. The only drawback of the white is that it stains easily (indigo, anyone?). Holds 2-3 shinais with the tsuba off, or one shina and one bokuta.
