I also bought a shinai in Budapest and it break at the third trainning. It's sad because it had a nice balance.

Great price/quality ratio. It's my first shinai but compared to others I held it feels awesome; great balance! Nice tsuka and a nice big Sakigawa. Could recommend it to people like me who have weak joints and tend to overstretch. It looks heavy but I'm really pleased with the feel. (And so was my Sensei) Thumbs up.

Musha shinai |

I am new to kendo and i bought a practice shinai as well as a Musha style shinai to see if i could feel the difference. My practice shinai is great but, when you hold the musha shinai its like night and day, the musha almost feels weightless because of the excellent balance and craftsmanship. I would recomend this shinai to anyone just starting out or to experienced kendo practioners alike.
