The FUTON portion (the arm section) of this Kote is made of all ORIZASHI Fabric (The same material used for making the Kendogi).



The fist portion is made of Top Quality Shoaizome Deer leather.


The palm is made of Top Quality Brown Deer Leather

Shoaizome Orizashi fabric. It makes the perspiration better, for a faster dry. The material is very light.

Due to the nature of the fabric, the Kote padding is thick, giving a higher protection to the wrists and arms.

Thick cuff, yet very soft and flexible; the way I like it. No knots or fabric rubbing my wrists, as I did experience from other manufacturers. Very nice this!

I have had three different kote, and these hand stitch kote are the best! The wider hand stitching makes for better wrist protection without any extra stiffness. I don't need a wrist pad with these kote.

The extra thick padding on this Kote makes the strikes less painful. Great when you are on the Motodachi side, receiving hits from beginners.
