This is the New version of KAMAKURA Shinai. It has has the same balance and same feel, but the bamboo color is darker, and has a nicer finish. Very beautiful finish. The shape of the Shinai is very similar to our popular Koto style ISSHO Shinai. This Shinai is a CHOKUTO (KOTOGATA) Style, with an overall thick finish. Due to popular demand, we have created this new DARK version of our KAMAKURA Shinai.
