Mino's design is very unique. Based on antique Shinais, with the KOTO style, it has a straight finish, all through the Shinai (which is opposite to the Dobari Shinais). MINO was based on a Shinai that an old 8 Dan Sensei gave to me. The bamboo is specially treated with BIO Technology for durability, giving a dark traditional look. Very beautiful finish.
