Great training bokken, I go slow and focus on proper technique.  GREAT workout, as said by another reviewer be careful and my suggestion go slow especially at first.  Thank you E-Bogu!

My favoriate yet February 25, 2009

I ordered this as a fairly inexpensive suburito just to try it out.  It is now my favorite bokken, which I use to supplement my iaido practice.
I prefer this to all the ones at my dojo as well as other more expensive suburito.

I've really been enjoying practicing with my new suburi bokken. The extra weight gives my muscles a better workout, and challenges me to make my cuts without using as much muscle. Great for training in strength and control!
