What more could you want? March 17, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I loved my first 450G aikido gi so much that I bought a second one, and I have plans to purchase more. They're inexpensive but without a big sacrifice in quality, which for me is a big plus.

As far as durability goes, I train three times a week, and mine are holding up to everything I can throw at them. They wash well and didn't shrink that much after the first wash.

My only suggestion to E-BOGU is that they start carrying more smaller sizes (I'm a size 2). I wanted to buy a more expensive gi, but this was the only one that came in a small enough size.

All in all, I'm a a very happy customer.

great value February 12, 2011

this gi is definitely one of the most affordable I've been able to find, and it's great quality.

I should comment that my experience with sizing was the opposite of most of the people here. I'm 176cm tall; my sensei said I look like a size 4, and the chart said I would be a size 4.
When my gi arrived though, it was huge - the pant legs reached the floor and I was swimming in the jacket. After a couple rounds in the dryer (high heat - I'm a rebel), it shrunk down and now fits very nicely, but I personally wouldn't get a size larger.

This was my first gi, and I got it about 3-4 months ago. It didn't take it very long at all to soften up and lose its stiffness, and it's great to practice in. I haven't had any problems with the waistband/drawstring either.

I definitely recommend this gi, especially as a first gi if you're just starting out and don't want to shell out the big bucks on!

I love this GI and it is def a good idea to buy one size bigger as it will shrink a little. I have been using it in my Akido class and it is holding up to all the rolls and falls

Great Gi. this is my second Gi ordered from e-Bogu. Its so affordable and great quality, I would give 6 stars if is possible. Shipping was fast and on time. As other mentioned if is your height and weight on border size get size bigger, it will shrink a bit after first wash / dry.
Strongly Recommended.

Great Product Fast Shipping.... September 26, 2009

I give this Gi a 5 star rating, based on speed of shipping (2 days on my doorstep) and the apparent quality. I just recieved this Gi today so I do not know how it will hold up over time with extended use. I would order a size bigger than you think you need. I am 5'10"and weigh about 215 lbs. The 5 fit great and after a washing in warm water and some time in the dryer it fits perfect. I will order from e-bogu again in the future.

Reviewer: Ryan Parrish from Allendale , MI United States
This is a great student gi much better then Kwon USA's student level gi. Craftsmanship is a lot better then I thought it would be at this price point I would recommend to anyone. Customer service was great they told me size 4 was out of stock recommended size 5 when the gi was shrunk it fits better then a size 4 would have thank you for the great customer service. I  also like this keikogi it stays in place better then Kwon's dogi when doing ryokatadori this gi wont be ripped of you by your nage thank you so much :)

Very good October 29, 2006
Reviewer: Filip Miletic from Delft, Netherlands
Quite a good keikogi.

This is a lightweight keikogi, with shorter sleeves as they should be for aikido. Although I have a heavier-weight keikogi too, I prefer this lightweight one for practice, especially in the summer months.

It lost one star in a review for two reasons: first, the pants fit too tightly. It does not limit movement, but often I feel the keikogi stretch as far as it can. This is especially felt with chico and rei.

I compared to other keikogi, which is much wider beneath the waist to allow more freedom.

Second, the straps used to tighten the pants around the waist are flat and stick to the pants fabric. This makes it a little difficult to tighten and loosen the pants before and after practice. Compared to my other keikogi where the straps are rounded and don't stick.

In other aspects, a very functional and pleasant keikogi to wear.

Overall ---- 4 out of 5
