This Kendogi comes with the following characteristics:

*True Single Layer thick 100% cotton fabric
*Specially treated cotton to soften the Keikogi for better confort
*Pre-washed to avoid shrinking
*High quality Sho-Ai (Indigo) dyeing

*Soft quilting on the bottom 1/3 for better confort

Nice and comfortable material, fits me well, even though I am a big person. Just make sure to use the sizing charts, or call customer service, and you won't be disappointed.

I just received this item the other day and man, is it thick. I am certain it will wear very durably over time. I don't even think I could wear the double layer one, it would weigh more than I do!

It is heavily over-dyed and will require several hand washings to remove the excess dye even after a water/vinegar dye-set soaking. My fingers still turn blue while folding it even after 5 washings.
