The Mendare is 3cm shorter than usual Bogu for easy movements
and Furikaburi, when bringing the arms above your head, for a strike. The
Mendare has a Naname stitching, which also makes the movement easier. This type
of Men is very popular among strong Kendo players in Japan. Also, the Men in the
olden days used to be made this way.
The back side of the Men has a design of Sakura on the Navy
blue finish, which gives an discrete accent to the Bogu.
The Men has our signature angled cut, giving the Men an
outstanding look, when worn.
