I've been using these kote for about 6 months. Also wore them for my shinsa.
The kote head is made really well. Very nicely packed with deer hair and firm. No more bruised knuckles! The palms are soft and durable. My wrists feel a lot more flexible compared to my old Eiko Budogu 5mm kote, but this is expected because those kote were beginners' kote.
However, there is one major drawback with these kote. The buton part (from wrist above) is extremely thin. It is almost as if e-bogu expects you to buy an additional wrist protection by default. I sustained a major wrist injury a few months ago because I wore these kote without wrist protection and we did a lot of kote practise that night. In the end I had to take a few weeks off kendo.
So on the whole, brilliant kote palms and head, but very very thin buton. Fine for taiatari, but not for kote cuts.
