As everyone else says, this is a really nice Hakama. It's comfortable, looks good, and most importantly, the stitched pleats do make it much easier to fold (which if you've never worn one before, really IS important so that after washing you don't look like a giant balloon).

This is an excellent hakama for kendo. I had a 10,000 hakama before this but this e-bogu 8,000 hakama is far superior in craftsmanship. The inner stitching keeps hakama maintain its pleats, needing only clothes pins to keep the pleats sharp when hung to dry.

Stitched pleats really make this an easy Hakama to maintain. Haven't needed to iron it. Just hang and peg the pleats together after washing.
Stitching is on the inside so they are not visible externally.
