Well, obviously having no reviews and an old picture, I had no idea what to expect. Well, considering the price, I was figuring basic cheapy like century, well, these are comparable to century gold or black line. Beautiful construction, the leather is supple and well made, and the hand guard is breathable and ambidextrous, and there is a tie down strip. My only curiosity was that my mitts were shaped, and both seemed to be for the left hand, although it does not affect their performance in any way. They also guard wrists if your kicking them.
