The Kobushi (fist) portion is made of top quality Shoaizome Orizashi fabric, which makes the Kote very light, and soft. Approximate weight 250g (0.6lb) each.



The palm is made of high grade Deer Skin leather.



The Kote Futon has a special Hishizashi (Diamond Shape) Stitch that runs across the entire Kote Futon. The joint portion is specially designed to fit the fist, which helps to shape the form when holding the Shinai.
