It is pretty light and perfect for practicing/correcting movements for your martial artists. It isn't good for the weight, so switching to an iaito or real katana feels weird. It is kinda expensive, but overall is pretty worth if you have the money

A little light in weight, but to be expected because of material but for instructional purposes where a metal blade is prohibited this will do just fine, and has a nice sound.
