These Shinai Bags are made of 100% cotton and has a lining inside. The Japanese character reads "Hei jou shin", which means "A mind that is always balanced"

5 of 5 Solid, but Bleeds January 9, 2019

Very solid item. I love it, but was tempted to rate it 4 stars. The interior is a brilliant red which contrasts well with the gray exterior, but it bleeds onto the white of the shinai leather when stored. I assume that bleed effect will die down, but I read in another review of a similar bag that if you wash it, the bag color fades dramatically, so you don't want to do that (even with a cold water wash).
