These bokken are amazing, the saya is plastic but it is not a thin plastic and has stood up to use although I do not abuse them or treat them roughly to know how that would hold up. The order came much sooner than expected and that was a very pleasant surprise. I would order again.

I have owned many bokken over the years, and while I have not had an opportunity to train with the E- BOGU set I ordered yet, I am very pleased. They are VERY straight, and VERY smooth. Appears to be very good quality wood and was exactly what I ordered. If they perform half as well as they present I have found my permanent bokken dealer!
