Extremely Satisfied - Would Recommend March 30, 2024 Reviewer: Y.H. from SF Bay Area, CA United States   I am so glad that I am able to find thick grip shinai on ebogu. My palm is around 8cm in width and I have been finding it a bit difficult to have a comfortable and stable grip with a standard chokuto 25-26mm grip shinai. It might not be due to my palm size but rather the shinai’s weight distribution. After I received this shinai, I tried out some suburi and it felt so light! I felt that I was able to apply pressure using my left hand’s last 3 fingers better. When I switched back to my standard practice shinai for more suburi, I found that I am feeling more comfortable with my grip. Excellent customer service! I left a note asking if they could help me trim the tsuka-gawa, as most shinai I bought has a tsuka length that is too long for me, and the two shinai I received have tsuka-gawa length as I have requested in my note. I am also very satisfied that the tsuba and tsuba-dome I purchased along with the shinai fit perfectly! Delivery was quick, received within 4 business days. Was this review helpful to you?

Love This Shinai September 17, 2015 Reviewer: nikkor_f64 from Ontario Canada   I have long slender hands, and I find the extra thick handle gives me a much better grip than that of other Shinai.  The Bamboo is very nice and provides excellent feel.  The balance of the shinai also allows you to be quick with waza...
