I've been using this shinai for a few years now.  It lasts forever because the shinai is quite strong.  It is well balanced as well and moves very well in my hands.  I keep coming back to this shinai time after time.

had some minor blemishes that I thought I wouldn't be paying for in a "master" quality shinai inside of the bamboo slats they are inconsistently thick but that could be on purpose as I've only opened up one of the two I bought.
