5 of 5 Perfect! January 10, 2019
Reviewer: Timothy Chung from Boston, Massachusetts
Got it for Kata and it feels nice really nice in my hand.
It has a good weight and it feels dense.

I really like the finish on the master quality bokken long so I got this one as well. It has a protective layer, but the wood still looks natural.

It's worth getting the master quality even if it's your

5 of 5 Just what I wanted December 5, 2016

I use shoto a lot. There are various lengths available and often times when I order one, the supplier sends one slightly longer than I like. The ones I purchased through ebogu are the perfect length and weight for the waza I do with them. Thank you!

4 of 5 Good quality August 16, 2014
Reviewer: Hoshu Vancouver Dojo from Vancouver, BC Canada
I have ordered these before for two dojos and have used them for Koryu Jojutsu and Hoki Ryu Kenjutsu. The wood is dense and solid and has a nice protective finish. Well worth the added cost over the standard white oak shoto. Perhaps a smaller sized tsuba instead of the standard tsuba would make for a tighter fit. Otherwise, no complaints, this is a re-order for dojo stock.

Overall very good.  Have not worked a lot with it yet; would prefer just a tiny bit more weight to it, I think.  As expected and very good quality.
