Yaezakura January 25, 2014 Reviewer: S. Walker from United States   So far this is my favorite octagonal shinai available (considering price, quality and production/lead time). There are some places that do handmade octagonal shinai which are expensive and have a lead time of a couple weeks. I use oval grip but sometimes there is still the possibility of rotating the shinai especially if the tsuka is not tight. I like the balance of this shinai and only wish there was a bamboo only option. I would recommend buying especially while the introductory price is still available. Even if you don't like it for regular practice you might enjoy the grip for doing suburi. Was this review helpful to you?
