5 of 5 A thing of beauty August 15, 2009
Reviewer: Henning Bauer from San Francisco, CA United States
A tsuba like this, of course, is ultimately a luxury item--the plastic ones that come standard with most shinais will do the job just fine. But, oh, what a difference it makes to see a little work of art like this on your shinai! It's not about utility, it's about honoring the art we've chosen to pursue. Which is not to say that the Kurozan leather tsuba won't withstant the rigors of keiko: it's 100% solid and rugged. I expect it to serve me a long time.

5 of 5 Wonderful Buy!! April 27, 2006

This item is amazing and beautiful. It feels so strong and long-lasting. This is a wonderful buy, I highly recommend this.

My only fear is that the stitching that holds the two outter peices of leather together will come apart or tear.
