Not a handmade but the best of all the machine made bogu in stock of nearly all the world. The men gane (titanium) is very durable and the stitching is wonderful. All the men futon has a very nice pattern with cowhide skin so it will last a lot of uchikomis. The palm of deer skin in the kote is very confortable and also has the same cow skin in the kote (deerskin in the TOP QUALITY). The doble namako is nearly the quality of a hand made bogu. The tare is Impresive!! It's the best tare I've ever seen in a machine bogu. The indigo dyed seems durable in the time I´ve used my bogu and the best of all is the lightness of the men... If you have practice with those duralumin and heavy men before then you'll love this HIGH QUALITY and TOP QUALITY 2mm. For a fist of dollars extra get the TOP QUALITY MACHINE MADE!!! If you don't like simple bogus and want a baroque finish in the men kote and tare then this is the bogu for you!!! Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome Bogu!!! April 27, 2006 Reviewer: Winslow Swart from San Antonio, TX United States   Speaking for the San Antonio Kendo Yushikai see www.kenseido.com , Your guys at e-bogu have really done it! For half the price of the Bogu I got from Mitsuboshi in Japan 15 years ago, you have managed to make a superior set of Armor. Two of my students have the full set and I am using the Kote and Tare from this set, and the quality is excellent.  The Top quality 2mm is beautiful as well, with Titanium Mengane, but this set comes exteremly close in over details.
