I purchased a practice shinai from Amazon and the quality was so bad the dojo I went too told me it was dangerous to use in practice. The materials weren’t quality and they were afraid it would break and hurt me/someone else. So I found e-bout through some reviews and the quality of the shinai is great!! It’s a world of a difference from the Amazon one, and it’s the same price! Glad I went with the e-bogu option. I highly recommend them and will be buying all my kendo supplies from them:)
