5 of 5 Excellent solo practice tool September 11, 2023
Reviewer: Taxol from Sacramento, CA United States
Excellent for solo practice. Did not come with instruction. But easily assembled without it. A couple bolts were loose and buried somewhere in the shipping box. So make sure to dig through all the packing materials for parts before discarding it. Overall excellent quality. Function as advertised. Thumbs up

5 of 5 Wonderful January 10, 2021
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Hamburg , Hamburg Germany
It came in a flash, super easy to build up and the best way to train when not being able to go to the dojo. Definitely worth the price.

5 of 5 Human Shape Hitting Dummy July 5, 2020
Reviewer: Rich from Henderson, NV United States
The human shape hitting dummy exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box it was easy to set up. The box was marked fragile with instructions to handle it carefully but there was a hole in the side of the box. Luckily nothing inside was damaged due to the excellent packing. You need a wrench or socket and ratchet to loosen fasteners for the base. As advertised the height can be adjusted to 6 feet. I’m 5’ 11’ so that is a great feature for my training. I haven’t dressed it with Bogu yet but I’m anticipating it will be a great experience.
Two recommendations:
1) EBOGU should sell a low cost Bogu that fits the hitting dummy either by itself or an option when you buy the hitting dummy
2) To maximize training it would be great if Arita Sensei could make a short video of how best to use the hitting dummy. Also how to put bogu on it.
With my dojo being closed due to COVID19 and no training partner to practice this hitting dummy will help me keep up my Kendo skillss.

5 of 5 Minako did an excellent job! December 19, 2015
Reviewer: Tom Daigon from Las Vegas, NV United States
Minako did an excellent job of helping me purchase a kendo dummy with armor so I could use it to daily practice longsword fencing alone at home between lessons.

5 of 5 Well worth the Money!! August 15, 2009
Reviewer: Ian  Alexander from Calgary, AB Canada
With adustable height and adjustable arms, you can practice nearly anything you want. (Kote, Men, Do, Tsuki).
The Base is heavy and well designed as it provides ample stability for targets like Tsuki.

The head of the dummy is a little small,  I'd reccomend finding a smaller Men. As with bigger size men you really have to tie it tight, and when its on, it ends up looking slightly deformed.

Easy install, everything was pretty straight forward and simple to put together.

The arms move up and down and are adujustable. You can put the Dummy in Jodan, Chudan and anything in between.
This makes it easy to practice targets like Do, which generally require the opponents arms to be raised slightly.

The dummy's maximum height is about 6' tall. This means for any of us 6' or shorter, it gives us a chance to practice with varying heights.

Overall I give this Product a 9/10 and I highly reccomend it to anyone.
