Beautiful well crafted hakama May 24, 2016 Reviewer: Barbara Tysell from Southfield, MI United States   Hakama is exactly as described.tge quality of the material and construction tells me that I will be using this garment for a long time. I had it embroidered with kanji of my name and dojo, and the wonderful person doing that work contacted me immediately to approve various lines and characters. Better than the #10000 hakama November 5, 2013 Reviewer: Rogers Gossett from Memphis, TN United States   This is the second #8000 hakama I've purchased from e-bogu and I love it.  I've used my previous one for several years now and it is still a pretty good blue for general practice. As mentioned in other reviews, the pleats are easy/-ier to maintain due to the hidden stitch lines (brilliant idea!). I have had the #10000 before and I still prefer the #8000 because after a few practices, it maintains a nice rigidity without being stiff (and 'poofing out' after standing from sonkyo). I plan to use this hakama for a long while and when it's time, I'll be ordering ANOTHER one. Was this review helpful to you?

Very nice Hakama January 7, 2010 Reviewer: Ryan from Toronto, ON, Canada   As everyone else says, this is a really nice Hakama. It's comfortable, looks good, and most importantly, the stitched pleats do make it much easier to fold (which if you've never worn one before, really IS important so that after washing you don't look like a giant balloon). Excellent Hakama April 4, 2007 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Tampa, FL United States   This is an excellent hakama for kendo.  I had a 10,000 hakama before this but this e-bogu 8,000 hakama is far superior in craftsmanship.  The inner stitching keeps hakama maintain its pleats, needing only clothes pins to keep the pleats sharp when hung to dry. Excellent April 27, 2006 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Chicago, IL United States   Stitched pleats really make this an easy Hakama to maintain. Haven't needed to iron it. Just hang and peg the pleats together after washing. Stitching is on the inside so they are not visible externally. Was this review helpful to you?
