Well-made and heavy! December 5, 2020 Reviewer: Brandon F from Shelby Township, MI United States   I bought this practice shinai as a supplement for another I had bought at a tournament. The short shinai I already had is more like a club than the E-Bogu model. It's not bad but I'm impressed with the E-Bogu model more. I also bought this so I could practice at home with my wife during the COVID-19 lockdown. My dojo is doing virtual practice and with 9ft ceilings I can't swing a shinai around my house. The bamboo slats are wide but still straight and the weight is about 100g more than my normal shinai. The grip is a bit shorter than my normal shinai but that's also personal preference. All in all I would recommend this even thought the price is high. It's a one time purchase and you can train at home more easily. Was this review helpful to you?
