What can I say? Its awesome. |

I will be getting my first black belt (1st Dan) soon and my Master will be testing me on Kata 1-10. I already had a bokken, but didnt have the short one, so I was deciding if I should spend a great deal of money getting this one or the $22. After three days of considering, I finally decided to get this one.
AND AMAZINGLY, it took only TWO days to arrive (usually a week!), but their service is AMAZING!
When I held the bokken, WOW. It's amazingly light (not too light and not too heavy, just the right weight), and the quality is magnificent.
However, I also decided to purchase the Saya. Obviously since its plastic, its not the real deal. So sheathing your bokken into the Saya, and turning it an angle down, will definitely slide off. But hey, the bokken itself is WORTH getting.

Best balanced Bokken |

When I hold a Bokken, first thing I look at is the balance. It should feel comfortable on your hands, in order to create a Good Tenouchi. This is the one. I passed my 4 Dan test with this Bokken.

Very Nice Bokken |

I use Bokken for doing Katas and Suburi, as I can tell if I am doing the swings correctly. We bought 20 sets of this Bokkens for our Federation Kata Practices, and everyone loved it.

These bokken are better than I could have hoped for. I am extremely pleased. For the price, they can't be beat. They also arrived very very quickly. I have ordered many items from e-bogu, and have never been dissapointed. A high quality company with high quality items.

For this one, whose experience is so limited, these bokuto are very nice. The finish is very smooth, the balance is excellent, and the wood seems to be quite strong... no visible signs of wear from Kihon practice as yet. Making my purchase was very easy, and even when I called with questions, my questions were answered thoroughly and patiently. Finally, they were shipped very quickly, and I was highly satisfied with how soon they arrived, and the fine condition they arrived in.
