A very good deal indeed! December 21, 2009 Reviewer: Amith Gelblum from Nir Zvi, Israel Israel   First off I should like to point out just how satisfied I am with e-bogu's service. I'm a complete beginner and needed much help choosing my equipment. They assisted me with great patience and every question I've had was quickly answered. Shipping wise, my kit was shipped the same day of ordering! it also arrived far quicker than I expected of (kudos for FedEx for that). The kit itself is great. The Hakama and Keikogi are lightweight, fit nicely and so far I've not turned blue as I half expected (I don't sweat much though so maybe that's why). The shinai's are just what you'll need for a practice shinai and are great value for their price. My only disappointment is with the 3 Shinai bag. It’s not very practical and doesn’t even have a shoulder strap. Next time I'll get a more ‘advanced’ model like the versatile bag, which also has pockets for the accessories and a shoulder strap. Awesome kit! Fantastic Deal! Beautiful Products. May 28, 2009 Reviewer: Kiefer Shanks from Lakefield, ON Canada   For a first uniform, this kendogi is very nice. It fits me very well. I've never been in a hakama before, and I'm quite impressed by its design. I liked the fact that their were folding instructions and steps to take when putting the uniform on. That was very helpful. The Japanese shinai that came with this deal was also surprisingly well crafted Compared to the Korean made one I am currently using, it's much nicer. I look forward to using my spare! sweet combo! November 26, 2008 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from CA    Everything you could need to start kendo or katori; hakama is light weight, gi top is thick and durable, shinai is a great addition even if you don't take kendo and the bag tops it all off!  Great deal! Great choice for beginners. January 31, 2007 Reviewer: Bear Philippe from Ann Arbor, MI United States   I started doing kendo last year and this was my first purchase.  I was hesitant at first because of the prices that I has seen on other sites, but after having worn these for close to 6 months, I'm happy that I went with e-bogu.com for my first kit. The material is very nice for the price, and it keeps me from getting over-heated during practice.  I'm a real furnace once I get warmed up, but this outfit breathes quite well and keeps me nice and cool. My only difficulty is that the pleats can be easily lost if you don't take proper care of the hakama, but with some help from sempai, I was able to correct that. This is the ideal choice for those new to the sport and concerned with spending wisely.  It's the best deal around. Was this review helpful to you?
