I did multiple purchase of naginata from Ebogu and from all that experience it's just OK quality. The naginata does not feel that smooth and some of them are a bit heavy and thick.

The wood part is very smooth so I can change Kamae quickly and nicely. The weight is perfect!
unfortunately this item is not free shipping item and I had to pay shipping fee... However,I am very satisfied over all!

After a few hours of practice I've determined that this is an excellent training weapon, well worth the cost.  I highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about naginata training.

Shaft April 22, 2007

This is a beautiful shaft as elegant as Rosy O'donel.   Who am I kidding its a stick with a pointy thing on the end. Sure its fun to wave around but the girls see it and just laugh.

Without a doubt April 27, 2006

the Naginata is one of the top three most elegant and beautiful instruments in Japanese Martial Arts, next to the Katana and Yumi.  I especially enjoy this instrument for its flexibility and durability.  With care and control the Habu will last a long, long time.  Thank you Ebogu, I am once again very, very happy with my investment.
