excellent product December 20, 2014 Reviewer: Lynn Hatfield from Estill Springs, TN United States   The hakama himo were added by accident because I had already chosen them during the initial product selection. However, I simply sent an email to customer service and ask if they could go ahead and sew them on for me since I paid double. They were great! Came in 2 days later sewed on. great and i'll tell you why... March 23, 2014 Reviewer: Jason Carl from Sicklerville, NJ United States   I had many abdominal surgeries and ever since have been out-of-shape.  I started Kendo to get back into shape.  However, I am too heavy for the hakama to wrap around me twice.  Besides that, I am sensitive to clothing that fits tightly around my waist.  If you are 'fat'  and need more room, these are definitely for you. I hope there comes a time when I can remove them.  But in the mean time, I practice Kendo/Iaido twice per week and these are a must.  I sewed them on myself and they look great.  BE CAREFUL though because e-bogu offers two different color blues.  I ordered both to find the best color match for my hakama and the light blue worked best.  If you do not know how to sew them on, you can probably have a dry-cleaner or seamstress do it for a small fee. Hakama himo extension sss March 12, 2014 Reviewer: John C Dechon from Colorado Springs, CO United States   I don't know what can be said about such a basic item itself, but I can say that I ordered these himo extensions so they'd MATCH exactly the himo the hakama already had, not only in appearance but also the same material, width & thickness of the original himo. These extensions do just that and I'll be taking them to my tailor to have them sewn on. I have ordered from E-Bogu before and as before, all went well and am pleased with the quality of their tetron hakama & gi (Iaido top). Plus, the staff at E-Bogu were helpful in answering my questions and responded promptly to my e-mails. In all, I would shop at E-Bogu in the future... Was this review helpful to you?
