Beyond expectations 🖤 June 8, 2020 Reviewer: Rachel from Los Angeles , CA United States   I’m a beginner and this was recommended as a favorite training katana. I’ve currently have been learning with my cold steel. The Katori Shinto Ryu Bokken is reasonably priced - I added the engraving. They emailed me almost immediately after ordering with the engraving information and then sent me options of fonts.  So helpful. Received the shipping notification the next day - it was delivered really fast. Maybe 2 days.   The bokken is beautiful. Great length for me. I’m 5’3” tall and it’s not too long. The engraving is simple and makes the sword special. (Now my boyfriend wants one) ... they send you a coupon with your order... smart - now buying him one. Was this review helpful to you?

It "Floats" December 8, 2016 Reviewer: Grant from San Francisco, CA United States   I am a beginner Aikido student, so my experience with the bokken is limited. However, when I brought my new sword to my Sensei, who is 6th dan, he got a pleased smile on his face and simply said "it floats." I feel fortunate to start my training with this Bokken. really nice Bokken March 13, 2016 Reviewer: Chuck from west covina, CA United States   This is my first real bokken.  It has a good weight feel to it.  It is solid and should last for a life time since I won't be using it for actual contact against other bokkens.  My main use will be to practice cutting motions and katas. Great Product, Poor delivery May 7, 2014 Reviewer: nicholas aguilar from Buena Park, CA United States   On regards of the product, I was satisfied greatly. The wood is great and the make of the product is excellent; just like in the description. This bokken is well balanced and is surprisingly lighter than other bokken I have had in the past. However, the delivery was poor I paid for "standard" overnight shipping ( the only overnight shipping option on the site, and the most expensive), and my bokken sat in the fedex distribution center for three days. I purchased the product early friday and it didn't show up until early monday morning. Since fedex employee's do not work on weekends, that meant the product wouldn't have reached the intended destination until the next business day. So I will not be using their delivery service again. Nonetheless, the product is excellent and I would recommend this bokken to anyone who is looking to buy. Was this review helpful to you?
