Excellent Quality - Beautiful Craftsmanship November 21, 2016 Reviewer: Jesse from Payson, AZ United States   These bokuto are great for practicing suburi. Quality craftsmanship and a beautiful selection of white oak. Found that these bokuto allow me to quickly correct my posture because of the light weight; I can feel my shoulders when they are not staying. Fleet and Light July 22, 2016 Reviewer: Peter from Pittsbrugh, PA United States   These bokuto are slender and very maneuverable. They are exactly what my seven years experience in Kenjutsu suggest would be necessary to out maneuver steel. They have a completely different feel than that of any bokuto I have ever wielded. There was a small splinter on the tsuka of the daito, but easily removed. Was this review helpful to you?

Bokken: Light, Strong, Good April 27, 2014 Reviewer: Brandon from California   This is my very first bokken I purchased! The weight of the Daito/Shoto feel very light, making it more easier to focus on swinging technique, rather than strength training. I recommend this set for anyone who seeks a lighter bokken. Good Hasuji Feeling March 12, 2008 Reviewer: Guy from CA United States   The bokuto shape makes a great difference! I can better feel and control the hasuji. The shinogi line is high and clearly defined. These bokuto are thinner than normal bokuto. The ha ( blade edge) is  not rounded and is closer to a real blade. I mounted a plastic tsuba at a 5 inch point of balance on both the daito and shoto using two rubber stoppers for each tsuba. The tsuba were sandwiched between the rubber stoppers. The point of balance was adjusted by moving the rubber stopper/tsuba/rubber stopper assembly up or down the bukuto. The tsubas and  rubber stoppers were purchased in addition to the bukuto set The daito tsuka at 10 inches is a little short for my preference but I adjusted it using the tsuba to an 11 inch length. The shot is longer than a kendo shoto. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent Bokken Set April 27, 2006 Reviewer: Budoka from TORONTO, ON Canada   The quality of this bokken set is excellent.  The colour (even better when oiled), the wood used, and the angle they are cut in are perfect.  Feels like real swords.
