I ordered this as a fairly inexpensive suburito just to try it out. It is now my favorite bokken, which I use to supplement my iaido practice. I prefer this to all the ones at my dojo as well as other more expensive suburito.

I've really been enjoying practicing with my new suburi bokken. The extra weight gives my muscles a better workout, and challenges me to make my cuts without using as much muscle. Great for training in strength and control!

Pretty heavy, awesome for building up the strenght and speed in your swing. Standard bokken feel like nothing after practicing with this thing. The balance is great and it's quite comfy in my hands. Great craftsmanship. Just don't over do it guys, this thing will hurt you before you hurt it.

Pretty good for zombie invasions |

pretty good for zombie invasions, especially if you are strong and want that extra brutal punch to your swing. As for kendo, it feels good to switch from time to time between shinai and this suburi bokken for practicing. If you're not strong, be careful not to overdo it during practice or you might risk hurting your right elbow during suburi.
