The mats get a little chilly at my dojo in the winter so I wanted something on my feet. If we choose to wear socks, Sensei requires traditional tabi footwear with our uniform. He suggested these as a low cost, quality option and they are just that… Good quality at a reasonable price! I wear a size13 shoe and an XXL fits just fine for me. They may be a little bit slippery at first (not bad) but as the bottom picks up a little floor grit it grips just right! Over all a good value for the price.

I picked these up since they didn't cost much compared to some others. I figured it was a good chance to check the size and fit before paying for expensive ones I couldn't return. Overall these are good, but they're a bit loose around the instep and ankle and a little short in the toe. Gets a bit uncomfortable when doing forward steps, but maybe that will change as they break in.

Tried them for a class and they seem to be far more durable than other ones I have. The material is like canvas throughout. Only thing that I notice now is that there aren't very specific sizing options. Though the large ones seem to fit me just fine luckily.
