Here's what everybody wants to know, it weights 589g with the tsuba without the saya.
So the weight is not bad, and only slightly lighter than my other bokken with no bohi at 613g (makes sense as bohi takes away some material).
The oak is very smooth, much better feel than my red oak one, and the bohi adds an extra nice whoosh to my swings.
This will be my main bokken from now on.

This is a very solid bokuto. The whistling feature is nice. Already showing me my left to right kesa giri needs better alignment. Only complaint would be it's not quite as curved, so the plastic saya is pretty snug at first.

I have several bokken ranging from very old, but cheep mass market bokken to a hand made Bokken I picked up while on vacation years ago. They all have their place. I have always wanted one with a saya. When I saw this bokken with saya and it had a grove I thought, why not. After receiving it and using it a few times, I love it. It isn't too light, so it feel good in the hands, it whistles nicely letting me know my cuts are still crisp and well aligned, and, it fits perfectly in the saya. It was money well spent.
