A great wakizashi bokken with 2 very minor flaws October 29, 2023 Reviewer: Dakota Snipes from GLen Allen, VA United States   I have been training kenjutsu for almost a year now and recently my sensei permitted me to start wearing a daisho, I ordered this to wear in place of an eventual Iaito wakizashi and it’s served me well so far, the wood grain seems good and it’s overall very symmetrical and well made. My only two complaints about it are that the tsuba has a few small gaps under it because the end of the handle is slightly uneven in a few places but that hardly affects it’s functionality and is very likely an individual quirk on mine, and that it fits very loosely in its saya as opposed to many bokuto I have seen which fit tightly in their saya. However both of these are very minor things that don’t affect me much and likely won’t be a huge issue especially since with a little elbow greese both things are fixable, so overall I’d say that having only two minor things that I can nitpick is pretty good.
