This Shinai is made with 4 thick bamboo pieces, and it is ideal for Suburi training by yourself. It is perfect for individual training at restricted spaces. You can strengthen your arms, by doing Suburi with this shinai. It can be held with both hands, but being short, you can freely practice in your living room or office. Also, the oval grip helps you with the Suburi with the correct Hasuji.

I literally just did practice at home with it.  Super amazing for posture , proper hand position , shoulders and arms during sayumen without the low cieling being a major issue! Highly recommend!

LOVE this.  Now even on my days away from the dojo I can still get my swings in.  Its heavy and doesnt have the perfect feel, but still gives you the sensation and works well.  My only wish would be for a round handle version, to closer match what I use.  Still worth the buy though
