Master Quality MADAKE Shinai - "TSUGARU BEKKAKU" Size 39 is a KOTO Gata Shinai. It is purposely crafted to be approximately 410 (+-10 g) for bamboo only (Add 50 g for Shinai leather parts), which is under the Shiai Regulation weight. This means "TSUGARU BEKKAKU" Shinais cannot be used in official tournaments. However, this Shinai is very popular among the high ranking Senseis, who do not compete at tournaments, but spend hours doing Motodachi, during practices. Very well balanced, and due to its light weight and durability, it is perfect for Kaeshi Wazas and multiple strikes. This shinai is assembled with Ariga Bessaku Tsuka.
