"This is the Shinai designed for Taiyo and he has been using for the past year. We finally made it to production! It has a "Hakkaku-Koban" (Octagonal Ova) grip on the left hand (diameter of approximately 28 x 34 mm), and round grip on the right hand (diameter of approximately 33 mm). It feels quite thick. It is a Dobari type so the weight is closer to the handle, and as a result easy to use for quick strikes, perfect for Shiais. Tsuka is the top quality doble fold with a regular 39 length."
