BEGINNER? START WITH THIS! April 15, 2024 Reviewer: Max Borden   Yes, get 2. Why? They're not that much more expensive and if you are looking to make friends/practice with others, it always helps to have a spare! Along with this, you'll end up needing two anyways as a beginner because you might mistreat one with improper technique and having a spare will not slow your learning. best starting point for beginners! December 12, 2023 Reviewer: Enrique Reyes from San Salvador, El Salvador   Mi initial impression of the shinai was not the best, as visually, the staves had some dark spots that are generally avoided in shinai making, IN SPITE OF THAT, the shinai feels good when used.
