Great May 8, 2026 Reviewer: Richard S from Cambria, WI United States   Sales team was very helpful.  I was concerned about shrinkage and they reviewed my body measurements and recommended a size up.  After running through the wash, pants fit perfectly.  The top is a little baggy but I can probably heat dry it one or 2 more times.  Great fit, great service. Comparison of single and double layer February 20, 2026 Reviewer: DS from Seattle, WA United States   I purchased the single-layer in addition to the Seika double-layer to have a lighter-weight gi for travel and summer.  I like the fit of the double-layer better.  For reference, I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs.  The double-layer fits perfectly after washing/shrinkage.  The single-layer runs smaller, so the fit is a bit narrow across the torso.  For both, the reinforced portion of the pants is largely positioned on the thigh area and the bottom is at about the middle of the knee, so it does not serve its intended purpose.  Overall, however, the quality seems good (after just a few wearings), and good value for the price. My Go-To Aikido Uniform December 31, 2025 Reviewer: Chris deMonch from Barnegat, NJ United States   There's alot good to say about this uniform. It combines a decent amount of comfort and is suitably durable. Even with some of the stronger grips in my dojo I've never worried about the uniform ripping and after a couple years it shows no real damage. All in all I've got no complaints. Good lightweight gi December 7, 2025 Reviewer: Michael Wilson from Albany, OR United States   The material is high-quality, but also light and soft, very comfortable for training. Runs true to size, but of course will shrink over time. I am 5' 8", 175 lbs, and I order a size 5 and then purposefully shrink with first wash and dry (hot water/high heat), and then only cold wash and hang dry after. Size 4 would fit right out of the box, but gets too small with gradual shrinkage over a couple of years. Was this review helpful to you?
