Nice quality and edging January 24, 2024 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Orlando, FL United States   Edges of each bamboo has nice edges, and surfaces are well polished. Quality overall personally for that price, I have no complaints at all. Though,it would be nicer if the embroidery “八重桜” was at the back where you can see it easily, instead of behind the string where it’s harder to see. Was this review helpful to you?

Great Shinai May 23, 2018 Reviewer: Jackson A   Got this Shinai for kendo training and it’s super light and the grip is perfect. Reccomend for those who like the grip or feel of a katana, bokuto, or bokken. However the tsuba options are vague in registers to the size and proportions. I have purchased multiple tsuba to fit this Shinai however none have so far. I had to use sand paper to file the inner ring of the tsuba to fit. And now I’m left without a stopper of appropriate size. Overall a great product but the seller should have accessories attuned to the specific product it is paired for. Example being a tsuba and stopper that is size appropriate for the grip. I am happy with my purchase and these issues can be worked around. It’s just inconvenient. Thanks! Beautiful Shinai and Seller March 31, 2018 Reviewer: R.H. Keo from Fresno, CA United States   I ordered this Shinai to see how an octaganal grip would feel. I love it. For the price I spent I was more than satisfied with the quality of the Shinai. Also, I ordered this along with a new hakama which was also excellent (tetron in black) and they literally arrived the next day. Granted I only live about five hours away from e-bogu's location, still this is just unexpected service quality. Thanks to sellers for operating such an excellent business.
